Painting Holidays

The area was originally settled in the Hellenistic period, but the village derives its name from its first inhabitant of the Byzantine years, Erythrodontas. Characteristic features of the village are the two stone built water dam-locks and one of the most interesting sites is the abandoned monastery of Profitis Elias.
Attractions:
The unique square of the village, where people gather at the coffee shops and various festivities take place, the natural environment, the historical monuments, the entertainment places and the ten taverns, the horse-riding school, and the small distances to all sites of interest,  [Lythrodontas is only 25 km from Limassol beach, 25 km from Larnaca beach and Airport and 15 km from the historic Macheras monastery],  leave no other choice but Lythrodontas as the place to stay and as an excursion centre.

Besides the above area attractions, Lythrodontas is also the right place for practicing your hobbies,  nature trails, cycling, painting holidays and the special interests and arts and craft activities.
